Recent investment in a Siemens Altea 1.5T MRI scanner, enhanced with an ambient lighting experience, has further improved the patient experience of MRI scans. Benenden Hospital provides MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy procedures. On arrival, patients are welcomed by a Radiographer—an expert in diagnostic imaging—who guides them through the process, from answering initial questions to performing the scan. Scan times vary from 15 minutes to over an hour, depending on the type and area of the body being examined.
