Welcome to Taunton Diagnostic Centre. Opened in September 2021, Alliance Medical began running this modern centre in November 2022, in partnership with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Serving patients across the county, Taunton Diagnostic Centre's location away from the busy hospital makes it more accessible and convenient for referrers and their patients. Offering a range of diagnostic imaging, the centre allows us to provide high-quality, safe scans quickly, significantly reducing patient waiting times.

The Taunton Diagnostic Centre is conveniently located near several transportation options. The nearest motorway junction is Junction 25 of the M5, which is only a 10-minute drive away. The service from Scan.com was very good, a quick appointment and speedy reporting. The subsequent referral to Practice Plus Group however was poor with an unsatisfactory consultation . The images were not available to the consultant despite the referral being recommended by yourselves and over 7 days from the scan. I am now looking for another clinician to take my care forward.
